This is my Star Trek: The Next Generation fanfic, which I wrote when I was nineteen. It takes place in the second season, and was written before the book A Rock and Hard Place by Michael Jan Friedman was written. This is important only if you've read that book, since the premise is almost exactly the same! Great minds think alike, but he got his published. ;-) His was much better, too. This is the story in its entirety, with very little formatting, but I still rather like it. Then again, I'm biased. ;)

A long, unfinished story about an actor and actress who overcome great odds to be together. This was written in my...umm...what would you call them. Fantasy-ish days? This one is quite a bit "out there". Originally, it took place in the future and began as my own take on Phantom of the Opera.

A story of Ben and Lia, who meet on the internet, then in real life, fall in love, and have to overcome obstacles to be together.

This story has gone through MANY changes. So many that it could probably be three stories. But the idea of meeting your perfect mate on the internet is a fascinating one to me since it is the way that I met my husband. I have actually written one other "online love affair book", but it still sits in a spiral-bound notebook, and I have notes for another.

Second Chances (2004) (Short-short: Complete)

She ran away once, but is now forced to come back. But is she ready to face the past, the lies, and the man she left behind?

Written for a writing class assignment. I have started to expand it into a full length story.

Phantom of the Opera (2005) Based on the novel by Gaston Leroux

The classic story of the masked genius and the innocent opera singer with whom he was obsessed. Gaston Leroux was a journalist, and wrote his story as one. He found his information years after the fact by some eyewitnesses and the memoirs of some of those involved. However, who's to say that he got it right? He could have misinterpreted the journals, and been misled by the witnesses.

This is Christine's story.

If I Loved You (2000 & 2005)- First two chapters

Originally written as part of a trilogy in 2005, the re-write of this story was my first attempt at participating in NaNoWriMo.It went through one revision after the 2005 draft, and has now been left and considered finished even though I'm not entirely happy with it. Here you'll find the first two chapters.

Night Music (2006)-First two chapters

My 2006 NaNoWriMo novel. For many years I have been trying to write my own "Phantom of the Opera" type story, and I've failed every time. Either the idea was too far-fetched, or the story just completely lost steam. For 2006 I came up with an idea (at the last minute) that I am finally pleased with. This story is undergoing another revision at this time, and I believe is nearing final completion.

My 2007 NaNoWriMo novel. This excerpt is from the NaNo draft. I've read through the story once and there are some changes I want to make, but this is the first story I've written in a while where I'm pretty happy with it as is. No major plot falls, as are common in NaNo work. ;-)
